Story

A business should be an extension of the people in it. We have a passion for people, a love of nature, and a fascination with communication. Farü is a deliberate combination of our interests and experiences. It brings all the things we love under one roof.

Ecotourism

Our low impact ecotours are designed to to appeal to the ecologically and socially conscious traveller. Preservation is our core value. We strive to serve the integrity of the local ecology and culture while creating economic opportunities for area residents.

Our diving and trekking programs take guests through delicate ecosystems, and  minimizing our impact to the environment ensures that future generations can continue to enjoy the natural environment. To ensure our success, we educate all guests on the necessity of conservation and responsible travel.

Education

Oceans cover over 70% of the Earth's surface and are home to the vast majority of all life on our planet. Human knowledge of marine life is growing rapidly, but new discoveries are still being made every day. Diving gives us the opportunity to explore vast amounts of marine biology and nurture a conscientious attitude towards life on our planet. Our diving programs are coupled with informative briefings, slide shows, discussions, and special guest lectures on marine life, threats to underwater ecology, and a host of other related topics. We exhilarate in the water and educate on land.

Philanthropy

Farü's involvement in Cebu's community begins at the roots level. We get our hands dirty and our feet wet. Clean up efforts of the Island's coral reefs are at the forefront of our  community service. We understand the necessity of the coral reef and it's affect on the stability of life for the many who depend on its very existence for their livelihood. Our programs aim to educate visitors and local communities alike on responsible reef management and welfare. Special guest lectures educate divers and  local community on specific topics related to underwater ecology and preservation methods, techniques, and principles. Our outreach programs, such as our biannual cleanup dives, help to maintain the environment, and aid local fish surveys and census.
